Unlock YOUR Child's Reading Potential

At Friends on the Block, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read. So, we developed a literacy program that captures every child’s interest and capitalizes on their capabilities.

Friends on the Block uses relatable experiences and familiar characters to draw your child into social stories that really matter—stories about children just like them who share, show kindness, develop empathy, and more. We couple that with direct instruction, repetition, and cumulative review to build your child’s reading skills and confidence to achieve fluency and comprehension.

If your child hasn’t made progress, it’s not because they can’t. They just haven’t had access to the right program.

Friends on the Block is the right program.
